From CyberGhost's Windows setup guide:
ARM-based processors, such as Microsoft SQ1, SQ2, SQ3 and Snapdragon chips, are not supported by this client.
A VPN creates an encrypted tunnel between your PC and a server run by the provider. Websites then see the server's address instead of yours, and people on the same network, such as a public Wi-Fi hotspot, cannot read your traffic. Users turn to CyberGhost to protect their connection on the road, to reach services available in other countries or simply to keep their browsing away from their internet provider. The client picks a server for you, or you choose a country from the list, and one click connects. Remember what a VPN does not do: it does not make you anonymous to services where you are logged in, and it does not replace an antivirus. Trust is the core of any VPN, because the provider can technically see the traffic that passes through its servers.
Changes in each release are listed in the CyberGhost 8 changelog.
Try another server location first; a single overloaded server is the most common cause. If no server works, check that another VPN or a firewall is not blocking the tunnel, and restart the app. Public networks in hotels or offices sometimes block VPN traffic altogether, and CyberGhost support pages describe settings that can help in such cases.
The app is free to install, but the service is paid by subscription; check the official site for current plans and trial conditions.
Install only from cyberghostvpn.com. Cracked VPN clients and shared accounts are risky: a modified VPN app sees everything you do online.
